Would you give £5 for this? (another fist added a photo to the blog)
Today's useless bit of information, any coin minted before 1947 contains silver (up to 50%), and if before 1920 it was 92.5% silver. Needless to say my coins didn't have any silver!
On a positive note I had a nice chat to the "coin guys" who told me you can buy a £100 silver coin (with big Ben ( Buckingham palace also available) on it) for about £70. Now it is still legal tender, wow! but hold on don't you be going onto eBay and start buying them because you can't spend them in a shop or pay them into a bank! Why? Because it is ONLY legal tender which apparently means can be used for paying a fine. So theoretically you get a speeder for sixty quid, pay for it with the coin and get £40 back!
Anyway that is enough of that, Tomorrow is Thursday, Poker night, yay. So I will probably list one of my "variations" for prosperity
.
