On the basis everyday should be a school day, I’ve learnt how to change the “theme” of the blog and the default font, YAY.
Well H has been sent home from school (that has such a different connotation than when I was at school). Closed the whole year group due to covid. She almost managed 2 weeks at school this time. The good news though this time is she is not self-isolating so we can still go out, YAY. Supposed to be meeting Mum and Dad for only the second time since March in a couple of weeks at an outside venue near them in South Manchester. This means it will be safer seeing (at a distance) the crumblies. As they are both nearer 90 than 80 they might even have had “the jab” by then.
Thursday, YAY, poker night with the” West End” lads (On zoom). First night since I told them about my other blog - https://alternativepokergames.blogspot.com/ . Quite proud (from a standing start) have produced 2 blogs with different “themes” (didn’t know what that meant 2 weeks ago) in a few days. Just got to keep it going!
Today’s jobs will be finding hand cream (part of Memsaab’s Christmas present and break down cover for car as giving up on getting official Ford service (“free” breakdown and MOT).
Little one got a Lego fireplace from the advent calendar this morning so that made her happy, Given H her cup of tea in bed ready for home working. Bollox that reminds me time for work
Champion, I've won a pony! I play premier League fantasy football each year and am in two leagues ( well several Inc head to head but for this discussion we will ignore that). One is the work league which I'm top in (another yay), the other is the local Pub league. Matty of Matty haha slash Matty turbo fame ( which will mean diddly squat to you unless you are at the West End on a Thursday night or read my other blog) alsos runs the pub league. Loads of prizes, one of which is manger of the month. Your truly just (only just by 3 points) won November, get in. So I'm twenty-five quid up.
